Oz Land Festival

Scarlett Antonia of Antonia Arts puts on a yearly tradition in Peekskill, NY. This past September marked the third annual Oz Land Festival. Antonia created this event in order to celebrate diversity, and honor L. Frank Baum, the legendary storyteller of “The Wizard of Oz.” Baum attended military school in Peekskill, NY and it has even been said that the infamous “Yellow Brick Road” was coined from yellow bricks found here as well. Antonia Arts is a not-for-profit creative and performing arts organization located at “The Artist Spot” in 925 South Street, Peekskill, NY. It is a space for all things creative including the literary, visual, and performing arts.
