About

Sonia Lee Garber is from Westchester, NY and got her start in Public Relations and Communications when she moved and started her first business in Seagrove Beach on County Highway 30A in the Florida Panhandle. Garber flourished at making connections and building relationships. Once her business took off, it wasn’t long before Garber was able to open a second business, using her publicity, communications, and marketing skills, as well as her artistic and creative sensibilities.

Garber had success and met many wonderful people during her time on “The Emerald Coast”, but eventually it was time for her to come back home to New York. Built from the ground up, for five years Garber was the publisher and editor of Cortlandt Living Magazine; a local glossy that reached 5,000 homes in the Town of Cortlandt, NY. Garber used her sales and marketing, as well as her writing, journalistic and editorial skills to make this monthly periodical engaging and informative. After five years of working as publisher and editor, and writer for Cortlandt Living magazine, Garber made a decision to go back to school full time and obtain a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Communications and Public Relations. Garber also holds an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Visual and Performing Arts. Garber likes the way these subjects interact with one another in her line of work, and enjoys being creative in her business acumen.
